Reduced tax rates are available for specific goods in applicable regions.

To apply these reduced tax rates to a good. you need to add the product code to your requests.

Books

Reduced tax rates for books are available in the countries listed in the following table. To use this rate, you need to add the 4901990000 product code to your requests.

Maps

Reduced tax rates are available for the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Sweden, and Spain.

You use two different codes for maps, depending on whether the maps are in sheet or book format.

For Germany, you need to add an extra 0 so the the total code is 11 digits. For example 49052000000.
