Deployment Overview

Read this topic to get an overview of the typical steps required to deploy and configure the service.

First, you access the sandbox environment. After you complete the configuration there, you access the production environment. You use the API to integrate the features of Taxamo Assure with your checkout process.

These steps apply to direct API integrations. If you are using a plug-in, you configure it differently. For more information, see Plug-Ins and Add-Ons.

Direct API Integration Process Flow

A typical deployment consists of the following steps:

  1. Registering and Accessing the Sandbox Environment
  2. Retrieving the Access Token
  3. Configuring Billing Information
  4. API Authentication
  5. Testing a Simple Transaction in the Sandbox
  6. Configuring the Sandbox Environment
  7. Accessing the Production Environment
  8. Configuring the Production Environment
